About Us

Anima Magica is not just a kennel – it's a dream come true, a space where passion, knowledge, and love for Labradors blend into one pure, dedicated mission. I’ve loved dogs my whole life, but when Ginny came along – a chocolate beauty with a big heart – I knew I wanted more. I wanted to breed dogs that would bring joy, safety, and warmth into the lives of their people – just like she brought into mine.

We raise Labradors with attention to every detail: health, stable temperament, balanced appearance, and most importantly – soul. All our dogs are genetically tested, free from hereditary diseases, and their breeding is not a number or a business – it’s a way of life.

Our goal is not just beautiful dogs, but happy dogs – Labradors that are family members, companions to children, a source of comfort to adults. Every dog grows up with us, in the warmth of a home, surrounded by care, gentleness, and proper guidance.

At Anima Magica, we believe that love is not an addition to a dog – it is the foundation of everything. That’s why we’re here, to connect the right dogs with the right people and to support everyone who sees a Labrador not just as a breed, but as a life companion.

Welcome to our world.

about

Why a Labrador?

Because once you meet one, you’ll never want another kind of dog again.

The Labrador Retriever is a dog that wins you over not just with its looks – but with its soul. Gentle, intelligent, and deeply loyal. A dog that understands your gaze, senses your mood, and gladly carries more than you ask – whether it’s a ball, mud on its paws, or your worries.

At Anima Magica, we choose Labradors that embody everything that makes this breed special – a balanced character, warmth, intelligence, and an innate desire to be close to people. Our dogs are not just beautiful – they are genuine, empathetic, and emotionally stable.

💛 You choose a Labrador when you want:

  • a dog who loves children and gently protects them
  • a partner for walks, hikes, or just lounging in the yard
  • a dog smart enough for training, yet always playful
  • a family member, not a guard – because Labradors don’t bite, they welcome
  • a loyal companion – whether you go to the sea, the woods, or a dog show

🤍 But know this too:

A Labrador needs human connection. He’s not meant for a yard without company. He’s not for those who want an “obedient dog that stays out of the way.” He wants to be involved – in your day, your feelings, your routine.

If you’re ready to give love, structure, play, and presence – the Labrador will return it a thousandfold.

🐶 Are you the right person for a Labrador?

We believe every dog deserves their person. That’s why we choose families who understand a dog isn’t a possession, but a companion. If you’re looking for a friend, a fellow traveler, a family member – then you’re looking for a Labrador.

Welcome to their world. Welcome to Anima Magica. 🧡

TIPS FOR LABRADOR OWNERS

Welcome to the world of Labradors – a world where tails are always wagging, where a look says more than words, and where your dog becomes your most loyal companion. Whether you're already a Labrador owner or planning to become one – here you'll find useful, tried-and-tested advice.

  • FRIENDLY, VERY ACTIVE, PLAYFUL
  • PATIENT, INTELLIGENT, QUICK LEARNERS
  • LOVE WATER, SWIMMING, AND PLAYING
  • HEALTHY DOGS THAT ARE EASY TO MAINTAIN
  • HARDWORKING
  • STRONGLY ATTACHED TO THEIR OWNER
  • HAVE A GREAT SENSE OF SMELL AND LOVE FOOD

HEALTH 🩺
Labradors are strong, but sensitive dogs.
The most important things to know about their health:

  • Food: Labradors love eating. Anything. Regular, quality meals and weight control are essential.
  • Joints and bones: Keep a balance between activity and rest, especially with puppies – too much jumping too early can cause hip and elbow issues.
  • Vet care: Regular vaccinations, parasite prevention, and annual check-ups are a must.
  • Obesity prevention: Labradors are prone to gaining weight. Extra pounds affect joints, the heart, and overall health.
Tip: Learn to recognize a healthy weight. A Labrador should have a visible waist and feelable ribs – without pressing hard.

CARE AND DAILY ROUTINE 🎓
A Labrador is not a dog for a yard without human contact. They live for you – they want to be indoors, with you.

  • Give them space to move, but also a cozy spot to feel safe and rest.
  • Shedding is constant. Regular brushing (at least 2–3 times a week) greatly reduces the amount of hair in the house.
  • Nails, ears, teeth – regular grooming prevents many health issues.
Tip: Set a routine from day one. A puppy that learns grooming, bathing, and ear cleaning through play will thank you forever.

TRAINING AND OBEDIENCE 🏠
Labradors love to learn – but they get bored quickly. Training should be:

  • short, clear, and fun
  • full of rewards (treats, praise, play)
  • consistent – all household members should follow the same rules
Getting started:
  • Teach basic commands right away: sit, wait, come, no, place.
  • Socialization is key: new places, people, dogs, sounds, surfaces.
Tip: Never train out of anger. A Labrador will sense your emotion before the command. A calm, motivated person = a dog eager to learn.

MENTAL STIMULATION 💬
A tired Labrador = a good Labrador.
Give them tasks – not just physical, but mental challenges too:

  • treat searches
  • interactive toys
  • trick training
  • retrieving objects (they are retrievers, after all!)
Tip: Five minutes of mental work can tire a dog as much as thirty minutes of running. It drains the brain – but fills the heart.

THE FIRST YEAR IS THE FOUNDATION 💖
A tired Labrador = a good Labrador.

Don’t rush – a puppy is still a child. Don’t push for perfection.

Set boundaries, but allow space for mistakes.

Enjoy every moment, because Labradors outgrow puppyhood faster than you think.
